12/23/2011 - Office Closed for Holiday

The San Juan County Crime Stoppers office will be closed Friday, December 23rd and Monday, December 26th for the Christmas holiday.  We will re-open at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27th.

12/20/2011 - Reward Information

Please take note that Crime Stoppers Standing Rules state that "any person who directly contacts Crime Stoppers and gives information which leads to the arrest of a wanted fugitive will be eligible for a reward".

If you choose to contact law enforcement directly with the information, you may not be eligible for a reward.

If there is a crime in progress, please call 911 immediately.

12/20/2011 - Questions about donations?

If you would like to make a donation to Crime Stoppers and it is not part of a court case, please contact the Crime Stoppers office to make an appointment.  We can be reached at (505) 334-4275.

If you are a defendant in any court hearing in which you have been directed to make a donation to the Crime Stoppers program (New Mexico State Statute 31-20-6), please send a copy of the Referral Sheet given to you by the court along with a Cashier`s Check or Money Order for the amount ordered.  If you did not receive a Referral Form, please include the Court Docket # and the name of the Judge who ordered the donation or is presiding over your case.  Mail the donations to: San Juan County Crime Stoppers, P.O. Box 2561, Farmington, NM  87499.

Please note that we do not accept personal checks for Court Ordered Donations and they will be returned to you.  We also do not accept credit cards/debit cards at this time.

Once the donation is received by our office, a receipt will be faxed to the appropriate court and the original receipt will be sent to you.  You will need to verify with the court that proof of your donation was received by them.

7/19/2010 - Office Hours by Appointment Only

San Juan County Crime Stoppers Inc. asks that anyone that needs to come to the office to call and schedule an appointment.  To do so, please call (505) 334-4275.

As of November 2007, the Board of Directors asked that anyone that needs to make a donation that has been ordered by a Judge to mail the donation to:
San Juan County Crime Stoppers, Inc.
P.O. Box 2561
Farmington, NM  87499

Please be aware that you, the defendant, are responsible for getting your donation mailed in time to receive a receipt before the deadline set by the Judge.  If Crime Stoppers has not received it in our office by the date set by the Judge, a warrant for your arrest can be issued by the court.

2/25/2009 - Caller #2704, Please call the office

Caller #2704 is asked to call the Crime Stoppers office to provide additional information requested by Farmington Police Department.

7/13/2008 - Text Message Your Tips Now!!!

San Juan County Crime Stoppers has the ability to accept text message tips!!!

Text TIP367 plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES).  Your cell number will be assigned an encrypted alias before we receive the tip.  You will receive an immediate reply containing your ID CODE.  We may also engage in two-way dialog with you without exposing your true identity.  No names or phone numbers will be recorded or identified!

You can also submit a tip online from our home page. 

Regardless how you send your tip, it is always 100% secure and anonymous!!!
