Case: Shiprock Criminal Investigator
| | Wilson Happy, a 68 year old male from Sanostee, New Mexico, was last seen on June 5, 2008 walking along US 491 in the Sanostee/Littlewater area. Investigators have not been able to substantiate that he was seen on June 6. Mr. Happy had a significant amount of money available at the time of his disappearance and had withdrawn $2,000.00 from his account the day prior to his disappearance.
Mr. Happy is described as being 5’4” in height and weighing approximately 110 pounds. He has shoulder length graying hair, which is usually worn in a ponytail. He also has a graying moustache. He has been known to consume alcoholic beverages and reportedly is on medication for a heart condition. Mr. Happy did not own a vehicle and relied upon hitchhiking to get around. He was known to associate with the transient population in Farmington, Shiprock and Waterflow.
Investigators with the Navajo Department of Criminal Investigations have performed ground searches, without success.
